Carnival Kid Heading to the Palms !

LAS VEGAS – Carnival Kid has been selected for 2018 Action on Film International Film Festival and writers celebration! Action on Film (AOF) will be held in Las Vegas at the beautiful Palms Hotel between August 16 and 26th ! The event will culminate with a black tie dinner and awards ceremony, which has sold out 13 years in a row! The festival is packed with awards, with over $250,000 awarded at the 2017 festival.

The festival has a history of being a favorite among writers and filmmakers. One of the unique aspects of the festival is the Legendary Stunt Awards that it recognizes the best men and women in the field. AOF is also known for being very popular among writers, with diverse screenwriting categories and even branching out to categories such Poems and Prose.

Carnival Kid’s director, Michael Perry, has had previous success at AOF, winning best animation at the 2016 Action on Film Festival. Festival producer Del Weston spoke enthusiastically about Carnival Kid’s acceptance into AOF, “Michael Perry just found his way back home with a beautiful, well shot and well sung Musical called The Carnival Kid. I loved it!”

Joey Fama, who wrote the film, is also an AOF alumni, receiving a nomination for Best Scene at the 2016 Action on Film Festival.
